Yes: open the box, remove the compression bag, position the sofa, and let it regain its shape—no tools, no assembly. The whole process takes about 5 minutes. Allow 24 hours before using it, and 72 hours for it to fully return to its original shape.

Fabric creases are normal — they fade naturally over time, or faster with a steamer (or a low-temperature iron with a cloth, tested on an inconspicuous area).

What are your return conditions (time limits, fees)?▼
At MILYsofa, you have 100 days to try your sofa at home, completely risk-free.
If you're not fully satisfied, returns are free from France, Belgium, and Germany.
The sofa must be clean, complete, and in good condition.
From other European countries, returns are still possible — a transport fee may apply depending on location.

How can I repackage the product if I no longer have the original boxes? ▼
Use a sturdy cardboard box, protect the sofa (cover/film), and seal it securely.

What is the warranty period for MILYsofa compressed sofas? ▼
All MILYsofa sofas include a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.

- Unpack with care. Remove the outer packaging, then lay the folded sofa flat on the floor before opening the plastic wrap.
- Release the seal. Once opened, the sofa will start expanding instantly — let the magic happen.
- Let it breathe. Keep the room dry and well ventilated. Lightly pat or fluff the sofa to help the foam regain its full shape.
- Assemble the modules (if applicable). Once the modules have regained their shape, align them and connect them using the hook-and-loop strips beneath the seat. Press firmly to ensure a secure hold.

Right of Withdrawal
1. Statutory Withdrawal Period
In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 calendar days from the date you receive your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to provide any justification and without incurring any costs other than those specified below.
2. Eligibility Conditions
The right of withdrawal applies only to standard MILYsofa products, namely:
- Sofas, modules, or accessories that are not personalized;
- Purchased by a consumer (a natural person acting for non-professional purposes);
- Delivered new and not yet used.
Products made to measure or customized according to your choices (e.g., dimensions, modules, fabrics, colors, or specific configurations) are excluded from the right of withdrawal, pursuant to Article L221-28, 3° of the French Consumer Code.
3. How to Exercise Your Right
To exercise your right of withdrawal:
- Notify us of your decision within 14 days of receiving your order,

How the 100-Day Trial Works

The sofa must be in perfect condition, clean and undamaged, so it can start a new life elsewhere.
Return fees may apply depending on your location and product type (standard or made-to-measure).

Your 14-Day Statutory Right of Withdrawal

10. Right of Withdrawal & 100-Day Trial
In accordance with French law, the Customer has a 14-day legal withdrawal period from the date of receipt to exercise their right of withdrawal.
MILYsofa goes further by offering a 100-day trial period to test your sofa at home.
The product must be in perfect condition, clean, unstained, and undamaged.
Custom-made products (modules, dimensions, specific fabrics or colors) are not eligible for withdrawal unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed.
Return shipping fees may apply, except in the case of an error or non-conformity.
Refunds are issued within 14 days after receipt of the returned product.
11. Warranty
All MILYsofa products come with:
- A legal warranty of conformity (Articles L217-3 to L217-20 of the French Consumer Code)
- A warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code)
- A 5-year commercial warranty covering manufacturing defects related to the foam or fabric.
12. Liability
MILYsofa cannot be held responsible for:
- Damage resulting from improper use of the product,
- Lack of maintenance, or
- Product modifications made by the Customer.
